Battenman Auckland Ltd supply and install custom run ceiling batten systems which are designed for use in residential and light commercial buildings.
We measure each site and have the steel ceiling battens manufactured and cut to length for each specific contract. Battenman Auckland Ltd is a factory approved agent of the manufacturing company, Batten Manufactures Ltd.
Battenman steel ceiling battens are roll formed from high tensile galvanized steel.
Our battens are a direct replacement for timber battens for both timber and steel framed buildings. They are light weight, dimensionally stable and straight with a knurled face. Because each steel batten is delivered in pre- cut lengths it significantly reduces installation time and eliminates waste and on site rubbish.
Battenman steel ceiling battens are manufactured in New Zealand especially to support Dry Wall Plasterboard and Fibrous Plaster ceilings. All our products comply with the NZ Building code, ref AS/NZS 2589 parts 1 & 2, 1997.
